About the Event
The First Migrant Domestic Worker and Employer Appreciation Day aims to celebrate the contributions of our MDWs, recognize and promote “Mutual Care & Respect” amongst MDWs and their employers. The event would be a day for MDWs to enjoy and lift their spirits as Singapore hopefully reaches the endemic stage in the fight against COVID19. In view of the current safe management measures, the event would be a hybrid event with both online and physical elements.
The event would be held at the FAST Hub located at 3 Chin Cheng Avenue, Singapore 429401. Through the event, FAST would like to take the opportunity to introduce the MDWs to the suite of facilities that FAST provides at the FAST Hub.
The FAST Hub provides them a home away from home with various services such as remittance, training, social support and leisure activities. The two main segments of the event lineup would be the “Model MDW and Employer Awards 2021” and the “ We Got Talent…VI 2021”. These segments aim to award model relationships between MDWs and employers, and talented MDWs respectively.
The event would be graced by our Guest of Honour, Minister of State for Ministry of Education and Ministry for Manpower Gan Siow Huang, and our Special Guest, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth Edwin Tong.
All physical attendees must be fully vaccinated.
